Great Advice, great productI recently had some brochures made up by Graphics Unlimited. This was my first brochure and I had no idea what I wanted. I provided a number of photos of my work and some wording to Barry Williams and left it to him. A short time later he then gave me 2 draft versions of the brochures. I was blown away!! He had exceeded my expectations and I struggled to settle on the final version. Both versions were exceptional. I am a drone photographer. My images represent my work and me, and the initial presentation will dictate if people follow on. I took the brochures to a crane industry trade show. When I introduced myself as a drone photographer I got the usual luke - warm response, because everyone can take photos and a lot of people have drones, so “everyone" is a stunning drone photographer! I then produced my brochure and watched the responses change from disinterest to let's have a chat. It was amazing to see the instant change once I produced some credibility which separated me from the other "drone photographers” once they saw some stunning examples of my work on a stunning brochure. Business cards, phone numbers and contacts were pretty quickly exchanged and the conversation flowed. In these days of digital images I had been told that printing is dying, but in circumstances like this, there was nothing more important or impressive than the hard copy brochure there and then to hit the target.
