Ordered 10 chips, calamari, flake, potato cakes and a southern chicken burger. Of that the chips were excellent. Everything else was terrible. The fish tasted old and dry, the calamari was tasteless and the potato cakes were bland. As for the chicken burger it fell apart as it was covered in way too much coleslaw which was drenched in dressing which made everything soggy. I tried to call to speak to a manger and only got an answering message. Left a message requesting a call back. Never received a call back. Very disappointing meal. The fish, calamari and potato cakes seemed to be cooked well as the coating was crispy and crunchy on all, but they all seemed to be frozen low quality products. Bought all this for a family group of 12 the only thing that was eaten was the chips as the rest was inedible. Further to above; the establishment asked me to contact them via fb, which I did. I attempted to provide as much constructive criticism as possible. I even went as far to advise them of a place near by that served seafood of a quality that I would of expected of them. I have yet to receive even the smallest of apologies or thanks for engaging with them in a constructive manner. I have noted that in all the 1 star reviews the owner had never addressed the standed of the food that was complained about in each review. Who ever is responding to these online complaints seems to feel that an observation about their manner that is considered rude by a customer is a personal attack and not an observation by the customer. They seem more interested in making sarcastic replies than listening to their customers and improving their product and customer service!

Honestly we were a little sceptical because we had a huge order, and it was ready within 15mins. But WOW the food was so good. Onion rings were amazing, burger was great and everything else was 10/10. Well done guys, you even remembered all the changes and add ons we made to our order which in our experience a lot of take away joints forget/ignore. You should be very proud of your staff! Awesome work.

Great little find. We had the Oi Oi Oi & Sticky pork belly burgers. Delicious!! Crunchy onion rings. Kids meals included a drink which was a nice bonus. Will be back next time we are up

The food is delicious and it is always so fastly made. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the staff out the front were quite rude except for one girl who was so kind. One of the girls kept giving death glances while I was waiting for my food on the stairs.

What a great find in Bli Bli. Trendy place with the best southern fried chicken burger I've ever had. They even do chop sandwiches along with the usual take away items. My wife had a steak stanza and said she was so full from it, but couldn't stop eating. Will definitely be back soon.

We were up the Coast yesterday and looking for lunch. Lots of places were closed but we found The Takeout Co to be open. I don't think the rating of low 4s is accurate, from my experience. We had fish, chips & burger. The burger was said to be pretty good. But the fish and chips were pretty ordinary. I notice that 15% charge had been added after we had paid, wasn't mentioned either verbally or in signage (that I recall seeing). In summary, I won't be back.

First time in 4 years my wife and I have been able to have proper fish and chips after being diagnosed as a coeliac. The gluten free crumbs were amazing and the fish and calamari was so delicious and tender. So happy we found this place.

Love the crinkle cut chips here, milkshakes are tasty and affordable and the pineapple fritters are great too. Heard great things about the fried chicken burger but thought it needed a bit more sauce - easy fix.
