Amazing value for money! 20 for an unpowered site (for the whole group) and there are benches, bbqs (pay 1 for 20 mins) and running water. The shower and toilets block are pristine and brand new - we haven’t seen so many showers in a campground in all our time travelling! The campground also backs on to the Gap Hotel which is an amazing little pub with a huge outdoor area and pool which you can use - such a rare find and definitely great value for money. Food in the pub is good too, would definitely recommend staying here while in Alice Springs!

We are mature caravaners on an extended road trip. Fortunately we rang two days ahead (demand is high in June) and got a powered site for 4 nights at an extremely good rate. The renovated amenity blocks are excellent. We had nylon matting under our awning so that was great too with regard to minimising grit tracking into the caravan. Not all sites have this. There is a cyclone fence separating the site from the Todd River and there is heavy security on site as it is in the back yard of the Gap View Hotel. The view to the range is lovely, it is very close to Heavitree Gap and the park is a couple of kilometres south of the city centre. The pub has a renovated outdoor entertainment area and you can hear what is being shown in the food and drink area. There are a generous number of BBQ areas for such a small campground and the laundry facilities are also excellent. I'd definitely stay again if visiting Alice Springs with a caravan
The Gap caravan park is basically a dirt paddock out the back of the hotel I have stayed here a few times now the unpowered site fee is 20 per night powered sites are available....it's the cheapest park in Alice not to far out of town alongside the Todd river which is dry as a bone nearly all of the time the amenities are very good BBQs sinks good showers toilets all clean and modern...a bottle shop is near the entrance and cops as per all bottle shops in Alice check that your not banned as alcohol is a big problem here....known as a rough part of Alice the cops do a great job and quickly sort out the trouble makers so this park is relatively a safe one there is a pool the hotel is good with a bistro it's actually a pretty good park for an in town short stay . Easy book in and good rates for me this park works well especially for it's location and modern amenities....
Very clean and friendly. Would recommend. Just a head up if you camp here you must take the power site as it many people got their cars broken in and still their belongings. Take care and stay safe

We were very in pressed with the help we got even when the finkes races were on it was great, saw lot around the place. We have told alot of people about you. We would be back when in town. Thank you very much.
Very small unpowered sites. They also allowed next to our site 2 cars with rooftop tents and 2 ground tents which good into our site. Manager was unhelpful. Noise after 10 not monitored with campsites partying until 3 am. Left a day earlier than we booked. I've done lots of camping but was by far the worst experience
Great camp ground clean facilities good pub and meals.
