Architecturally beautiful. Inside an absolute treat. The historical display draws you in, to read and view. The artefacts fascinating and the art gallery itself of a high standard. Friendly, informative staff. A place to revisit.

Lots of local paintings & other art on display. We got shown some artists working which is nice, however the whole place is looking tired & very little effort is given in engaging with visitors. The cafe was closed & it looked like it wasn't opening again soon.
