Not this particular centre, but Telstra customer service generally is abysmal, an absolute disgrace. Waited on phone for half an hour to find out about handset that hasn't arrived in 6 weeks, to be then transferred for another half hour wait then told system was in disarray and call back again. Yeah to wait for another hour? I don't think so. Executives have probably ticked usual boxes to pretend everything ok when it's actually a disaster. Appalling. Now I have to drive 45mins anyway to Penrith Shop to sort things out. Telstra should stop wasting customer's time and do better. Update - call centre in Philippines affected by volcano. Penrith store couldn't find any record of handset transaction but had the cheek to sell me a handset which was later refunded after my complaint.
