Love from Sri Lanka. My first visit to brisbane at last minute at about 5.30pm friday im looking for a something valuable to me as a souvenir. The bold headed person ws really nice to me.without any hesitation he compared every model and discussed with me about budget and i got my first gimble from you guys at that quick moment and i still using it perfectly for 2yrs.I really bargained with him and he gave me a discount also.Thank you guys.I love to visit again and ill recommend this place for any Sri Lankan.

I never get good service at teds in the cbd. Male staff are arrogant and dismissive, totally paying off the questions I had about a serious camera purchase. Ended up going to camera house in chermside where I purchased the camera I wanted for 200 cheaper. Not a unique experience with teds, as I also got overcharged with the last filter I purchased there. The store also looks old and tired. Very unprofessional!

Charged me 94 for an SD card other camera retailers charge between 25-36 for. Bought it with my first camera, they knocked some off the price off on the camera to make me think I was getting a good deal, but then ripped me off on the SD card. Guess no such thing as a free lunch, if it’s too good to be true then it must be.

Mel helped me to not only pick a camera but all the right gear to go with. She was diligent , thorough and professional and yet was personal, kind and honest. Rare qualities in a sales person! I will definitely go back during the coming years as my journey through the land of photography continues and I hope that I can call on her experience and wisdom as I need it. I would recommend Teds Cameras Brisbane and in particular Mel to anyone seeking good honest reliable information about cameras and all that goes with it.

Always compare the prices with the competitors before you buy. Some models are way too expensive. I bought a cannon EOSRP camera on boxing day, and It was 500 more expensive than some competitors. But by paying another 100 I was able to exchange the lense to a better one because they have a 14 day exchange policy. That is really good.

Came in to the Brisbane store this afternoon and could only see a couple of staff who were all very busy. I waited nearly 15 minutes before being served. The service that I got was fantastic, and the staff member who served me was very apologetic for the wait. I got what I needed but noticed other people waiting and the phones continuously ringing. It was not the best experience I have had shopping at Ted's. Even though I had great customer service, it took longer than it should have to buy a new camera bag.
