I've been going to the centre for about 15 years and find it to be a great centre, with friendly and helpful staff, managed by a very competent and enthusiastic Practice Manager who is always ready to listen to patients concerns and who readily takes on their ideas to improve the practice. There are (usually) 5 GPs working out of the clinic however, most of them only work Part Time (certain days or half days), they also have a Practice Nurse and Pathology Collection Centre on site. Some of the specific doctors can be booked out for up to a week (or more) ahead, so it can be difficult to get an appointment with them right away however, the admin staff will contact the doctor concerned and overbook/double book if really necessary. If you are not worried about which doctor you want to see, then you can usually get an appointment the same day. Note: None of the doctors usually Bulk Bills however, they do offer discounts for pensioners and Health Care Card Holders and the co-payments are not too much. Note: Since I made the above review, (& in part (at least) due to the recent opening of a bulk-billing clinic in town) they have now started bulk-billing all 'kids' under 18. Many of the doctors are now bulk-billing 'short &/or easy' (eg. getting a certificate for a day off for a cold or just getting an injection) consultations and are charging just the full rebate amount (i.e. you pay in full on the day, but get it all back from Medicare a day or two later).
