A Tasmania must see! We were greeted by Erin at the front desk and gave us a itinerary from the beginning of the best way to explore. This was such a cool un “zoo” experience. We were guided by Josie who had a wealth of knowledge of all the animals within the reserve even though she’s been there for a few months. It shows the passion she brings to her work and her enthusiasm. Josie was very nice and lovely to learn from as she showed us the whole zoo with comedic views of the animals personalities.

Very different to anything I've been to before, except for the devil's and a couple of others every animal there is wild. Watched the guide feed the devil's and the birds. We even got to hand feed some kangaroos, which are different to the ones we get at home. The guide was very knowledgeable and genuinely had a passion for these animals. Worth every cent, come and have a visit!

Amazing spot to see Tasmanian Devils and other Australian wildlife. We also fed kangaroos! Lots to see, we went in the late afternoon and unfortunately missed the talks about the devils and other wildlife so if you’re keen to do that I’d go earlier. Allow 2 hours!

Love what they are doing at the unzoo - staff described it as a retirement village for devils from the breeding program. Great experience!

Never seen this many Tassie devils this close up! They’re so close you could touch them although please don’t as you’ll probably get your finger chomped off. The entrance fee is quite high considering what you get but think of it as a contribution to helping this facility do the precious conservation work they do. Staff is knowledgeable and keen to have a chat about the local wildlife. Apart from plenty of devils they’ve also got loads of friendly kangaroos you can feed and pet. Otherwise it’s up to the animals that roam freely around their premises to show themselves, we saw a couple of parrots and wallabies.

Really amazing place. The staff were very nice and informative. The experience is a must do if you are in the area. Great also for rainy days.

Very nice place, needs some committed helpers to drive it on, as the ethos behind it is wonderful and what it does for local wildlife is so good

Wonderful concept with awesome up close views of the birds and animals. I combined feeding the Green Rosella with the guide, and wandering the beautiful natural park at my leisure. Loved it.
