This mob has been in the game, and at the top of it, for over 150 years and boy, are they tired! Apart from the exceptional 1st Baritone player and the country’s best Principal Euphonium player, the Triangleist is a true find in the modern world of brass banding. There is nothing in the world like Melodienacht. What a sensation! A definite must. Held on the last Friday and Saturday in May, it promises entertainment beyond expectation. Stay a night or two in the magnificent Barossa and come join the fun after a taste or two (or more) of the local produce - wine and food - at the rustic ‘shed’ in Tanunda Showgrounds, along with the 1199 others, thirsting for the offering of the Tanunda Town Band.
Melodienacht last night was sensational. We listened to world class music, singers and were mesmerized by the talent in front of us. Well done to all.
