Staff. Lovely lady called Anne helped me choose the right photo albums. Then I asked her about camera equipment etc and found her knowledge very good. Anything she didn’t knew she went out of her way to find the answers for me. This means I was able to get real value for the money I spent. She was very patient and had a great attitude.

Quite an extensive range of cameras and related gear, like carry bags for example. A very clean store with excellent pandemic procedures. The staff are friendly and attentive but definitely not pushy. It is a great place to shop, with plenty of options available and knowledgeable staff. I thought the prices were on the high side but would otherwise be 5 stars.
Well Ted's is a store that has seen some upgrading since the last time I was there. It's sort of a photography modern art gallery now … with priceless exhibits inside many glass cabinets. The modern look has come at the expense of camera accessories because there didn't seem to be the same sort of choice that I remember. The staff were helpful and friendly.
I phoned up to check stock of a light box, and the service staff member Sarah checked and put one aside for me. We also wanted a particular lens within a very tight budget for product photography. I am an amateur photographer with basically entry level gear and a Micro enterprise. Minh the service staff there explained our options, the difference in price and what we would expect in quality. Most importantly he explained it so we could understand. We ended up getting exactly what we wanted within our budget and armed with the information we needed to get the best results out of our new purchase. He provided a Demo of the gear, allowed us to use it ourselves and at no point did I feel pressured to close the sale. We have been using the lens all afternoon and we are so happy with the results. I really appreciate the service we received and I had a great experience at this store. Next time we buy anything to do with photography this will be our first stop and any time the topic comes up I will not hesitate to recommend these guys. Thanks for the great work. Keep doing what you are doing.
Attened the Camera Basics session. Its not a practical session but rather a little lecture on what to consider. Great starting point for beginners wanting to learn. Thank you Stephen for sharing your skills
I was looking forward to upgrading my camera. I had obtained an online quote to trade in my existing camera. The silver haired man who served me started tutting when he was checking my camera and lens. He muttered that there was an issue with the auto focus and handed me the camera. He asked if I had found a problem with the focusing and asked me to show him that auto focus was working. I knew it was working fine and told him so. Georges Camera's around the corner had already looked at the camera and even provided a higher quote. They did not have my new camera in stock and this is why I went to Teds. I walked in hoping to pay them 6K - 7K for a new camera and lenses and hand over my old camera for next to nothing. But, I ended up leaving Teds store feeling insulted and embarrassed. I sold my camera to Georges a few minutes later and they confirmed that everything was in good working order.
Just visited the Teds Camera Sydney CBD Store. Minh was super helpful in sorting out the deal. Very knowledgeable and clear in delivering information to his customer. Hastle free transaction. Shall visit again...
Service was so good here! I made a telephone order through the Sydney store and spoke to Chris and Nicole at different times. They were both patient, polite and very helpful. Made my order/bank deposit on the Monday and had it delivered by the Wednesday! Highly recommended
