One of the few places that open on Public Holiday and do not have PH surcharge. Came here for dinner on Good Friday. Food was delicious, service staff were friendly. 3 dishes & 1 drink cost us just 48. Menu is extensive but illustrated, so hardest part is to choose what to order! Shalom is famous for the martabak, but couldn’t try it during our visit as they were sold out for the day.

Food was absolutely gorgeous and very flavoursome. My partner and I had the crispy pork, curry and mango sticky rice. The food were very authentic - tasted like the way it’s meant to taste in south east Asia! Service was also very quick. In my opinion, the best Indonesian place in Sydney

Poor hygiene with gnats flying around the restaurant. Small restaurant with limited seats inside. Poor customer service. Only one staff serving at the front, too busy to attend to all customers. They do have a wide variety of dishes, but most were not that good.eat dishes were dry and bland. Some dishes were too spicy. I won't be visiting again.

My favourite Indonesian Restaurant in Sydney. First of all I love spicy food and they have variant choice of sauce that I can choose. Secondly, affordable price. Some staff are very friendly but, some staff quite forgetful when I asked for something they will say yes but after waited till my food has been finished, the thing that I’ve requested never come. Anyway, overall is excellent! Very recommended

Baik Terima Kasich Shalom! The Shalom food is delicious. Service was delightful, very polite, kind, fast and efficient. Lovely decor, very homely. Wheelchair accessible. Parking is excellent, many options to choose from.
