Great record store amazing prices and very friendly customer service. Certainly worth visiting for hard to find items. I found a mint copy of "Tibetan Bells III" by Henry Wolff & Nancy Hennings from 1988 at a very reasonable price!

I love this place. They have a great variety of Vinyl, Cds, and anything related to Music. Staff are friendly. Prices are decent. Staff are helpful and friendly

One of the best second hand record and DVD stores in Sydney. They stock a good range of product with varying degrees of quality (some near-mint or mint condition) at a reasonable price. The stock changes fairly regularly so a visit once a week could reap some crate-digging rewards. Definitely worth the effort if you're in town.

This is my favourite store in Sydney.. all my friends, co-workers & family hear most weekends that I plan to go to “my record store on Pitt St”. Over the years I have found many hard to find cds at amazingly great prices, visiting Lawson’s is a highlight of my week I look forward to. When I was a teenager in the 90’s a trip to Sydney was only complete with a visit to this store. Today, I’m deeply saddened to hear its opening for the last time on April 27. Get there before then to experience an iconic & legendary Sydney institution before it’s forever gone. Thank you Jerry & all the staff for many happy hours over the years of flicking through the cd racks. Wishing you many “donations to the retirement fund”. ️

Big selection of used CDs, cassettes, records and DVDs. CD prices between 3 and 15, good quality. Only the staff could be a little more enthusiastic.
