Incredibly fun kayaking. Good equipment. Sadly, the staff are rude

Quick and easy to get out on the water, good quality kayaks and lots to explore nearby. Not the cheapest, but I’ve been here pretty regularly, so must be worth the price. Beautiful spot in the summer. Can get quite busy though. I like to go early. Parking is a fortune - 25 per day on a weekend.

Intro lesson was really fun and informative. I went from barely being able to control the kayak to being able to turn and stop easily. Also corrected paddle technique which meant a lot less energy would be used on longer trips.

It was total serenity on the harbour waters surrounded by the lush bushland, historic buildings and mega waterfront mansions. Tiernan had good local knowledge, was funny and made the morning very enjoyable. Morning tea at a secluded beach with waterfall to boot. Five stars !!

We just took part in the safety course, and it was brilliant. The course is free if you have your own kayaks or 55 if you don’t. We learned how to exit the kayak with a skirt, rescue someone else, rescue ourselves using no equipment, and then with safety equipment, plus how to respond to minimise the chances of us falling out in the first place. Ben, the teacher, was great and answered all our questions really well. They also do basic lessons. Highly recommended!

The location is amazing, we paddled up to the wrecks and tunks park, amazing. The sea kayaks were of great quality, better than any I've hired before, a bit less stable than what I'm used to though. The only problem is the staff are not so much rude with us as completely uninterested. We didn't exchange many words with them at all, it was very weird and it became a talking point afterwards over lunch.

We booked here for our company's Christmas party, but had to cancel due to wet weather & COVID restrictions but the team were super helpful when we asked to postpone! They made sure our day ran smoothly and made sure that everyone was enjoying themselves, they were also very patient with those who were not experienced kayakers. All of us really enjoyed the experience and would love to do it again.

We booked in for the free (!!!) Introduction to Kayaking class and just had to pay for the kayak rental. We had a great time and learned useful skills. We will return in the future.
