This stunning façade is what remains of the former Bank of NSW building and now a Heritage listed façade. From Pitt Street, the ground floor is occupied by Industrie Clothing and the magnificent façade from the second floor up. This is a beautiful example of Victorian and Federation commercial buildings with the eastern façade facing Pitt Street. If you walk past this building in Pitt Street, have a peek at the sandstone façade with timber windows and towers. Exquisite craftsmanship with asymmetrical design and truncated towers to one side making this a visual spectacular. Absolutely worth exploring and learning its history and significance to this city of Sydney. For all ages and backgrounds to admire.
