Dancekool held a dance class for a Hens Night, and we had such an amazing time. The studio lights were dimmed to make it a bit like a nightclub, the instructor was fun and the routine and steps she taught us were a barrel of laughs! The class was so good that a number of the ladies said they wanted to sign up for it ongoing - unfortunately for them this was a one-off J-pop lesson! Such an amazing time, and a huge thanks to Dancekool!
Very social and community focused studio with great enthusiastic teachers that make class fun. Not too crowded so you can see yourself dance and get extra attention if you need help. Good mix of different urban and street dances up for selection. Recommend giving it a trial! - Tia
Good courses for beginners.
The level of classes caters for both advanced and absolute beginners. Beginner classes focus primarily on improving foundations through teaching basic grooves and the advanced/intermediate classes aims to motivate students by providing a challenge. The instructors there are all really friendly and approachable. Definitely a great place to start off!
Great dance studio, conveniently located near Town Hall station. Teachers are friendly, passionate and experienced in the styles they teach. There is a real focus on teaching the foundations and history of the various street dance styles. Highly recommend starting with a basic level class for those wanting to give it a try and who have never danced before.
We booked private couple dance lessons & choreography/music with Karen for our wedding first dance and absolutely loved the experience. They are very well priced, highly creative, professional and high-energy. We have gotten an endless array of compliments for our dance (surprise switch from Whitney Houston to hiphop mash-up). We chose our favourite songs and Karen channeled & interpreted our vision to create an amazing result, even beyond our expectations.
