So the short review - I wouldn’t recommend Aria. There was nothing that made me go wow and the dishes were average at best. A bit more detail - the oysters and the squab were tasty and the veal was okay, however everything else was really lacking considering that this is meant to be a fine dining restaurant and costs about 220 each for the tasting menu. Some dishes lacked flavour, one dish was dry and the service was not amazing. You were left almost waiting to be noticed and it seems that their selling point is the view of the opera house. I’m sad to say that it is not somewhere I would return to.

We had the lunch tasting menu with matching wines and it was absolutely divine. What a fabulous way to experience five star cuisine. While each course is small it’s packed with the most amazing flavours and the wine pairings were phenomenal. The service was impeccable and the explanation of each dish and wine was superb. I’d come back here in a heartbeat.
We had a celebratory meal here for a citizenship and the service could not have been better. Food was exceptional and atmosphere and view outstanding. Let me add the complementary bread, appetiser and palate cleanser were just as tasty as the main courses. This beats out other more highly rated venues. Highly recommended.
The best food you will ever taste, this takes fine dining to a whole new level. The food is outstanding, the flavours and presentation are out of this world. The view overlooks the water and opera house and the employees are all very friendly, polite, professional and welcoming. The entire experience is phenomenal. I can’t compliment Aria enough! 4 thumbs up! (Hands and toes!)
Sublime tasting menu. The non alcoholic pairing was inspired! The peach with fennel syrup and chardonnay vinegar was divine. All drinks very well paired with the autumn menu, and a great addition to make the meal more interesting and multi faceted. Gorgeous experience.

Fantastic evening for my birthday. Food was exquisite and Tom (sommelier) took us on a journey with wine selection. All staff were attentive and helpful. First class.
Came here in the August of 2019, food and service was top notch, got to mention their mocktails are fantastic, never expected such complex, layering of flavours from non alcoholic drinks, the fish sashimi that I couldn't find the picture of was exceptional.
