I really like the cafe here, which offers great coffee, and a very nice selection of fresh pastries and French type light foods and snacks. At times it can be busy and noisy, while other times mid morning it can be quiet and relaxing. Classes take place on the upper levels of the building.

The small class sizes and the comprehensive one-on-one assistance really helped me grasp my beginners course. I was hesitant to learn a language later in life, but found the entire experience exhilarating, enriching and straight forward. I will definitely be looking to enter into more advanced courses later this year. From starting with nothing, to learning basic French, I feel that the classes offered by Alliance are simple to grasp and wonderful to attend.

I used to go here for lunch all the time but since the old restauranter left a few years ago I stopped because the quality of the lunch menu really left a lot to be desired. I gave it another go today and, sad to say, I had the worst Salade Nicoise of my life- it consisted of tons of boiled potatoes, a sprinkling of tuna, chopped hard boiled eggs and 1 diced cherry tomato! I appeal to the chef, please do a course in French cooking if you are going to serve it at the Alliance Francaise!

I have been learning French at Alliance Française de Sydney for the last year and have thoroughly enjoyed my learning experience. Everyone is very nice and willing to help. Their Film Festivals are great too!

The teachers are very entertaining, encouraging and experienced. They are all native French and were able to share their fundamental French culture with us. I felt so motivated in class. I highly recommend learning French at the Alliance Française. Merci beaucoup!!
