Learning stand-up comedy doesn't need to take years of late night open mic nights, grasping for 5-minute spots across the city. The School of Hard Knock Knocks cuts years off the learning curve, because it is systematically taught by veteran comedians with trained facilitators and a combination of activities, feedback and loads of practice. The graduates are so good in fact, that we book them within 6 to 12 months to perform at Punchlines Comedy Club.
Had the best fun doing and performing at SHKKs. Tutors were amazing, guest comedian full of invaluable advice and absolutely killed. Not to mention a fellow comic pose to get you on the open mic road. Worth every cent!

I flew 2800 Km to do this course. It was very challenging for me to do course. It's scary up there!. Then I went home and quit my job. Life changing. The very best part is the support of the Alumni afterwards. Highly recommended
I participated in the School of Hard Knock Knocks in Feb 19 having signed up for RAW Comedy and wanting to put my best foot forward. I found it to be a fabulous course - teaching techniques of writing comedy as well as lots of stage time. The best thing about SHKK is that once you finish the course they give you opportunities to perform and connect you to a large community of up and coming as well as professional comics. I've been performing all over the place including the Sydney Opera House as part of a media charity gala. Next year I'll be performing in Adelaide's Fringe Festival as part of the SHKK's show which is just awesome!
