They're adept at fixing both guitars with active and passive pickups. I had a Ibanez 6 string bass that was making a regular clicking noise; they sorted it out. I had another guitar with a dodgy switch; they undodgied it. Quick, professional service is guaranteed.

Building a guitar is one of the most rewarding things you can do. If this is something you have thought about doing, definitely call BGMS. No experience necessary, they will walk you through the entire process.

I had an amazing time building a guitar at the Australian Guitar Making School in 2017. Andrew was always a patient and friendly teacher, and everyone that goes to the school is lovely and always down for a chat. I would recommend the school to anyone who has an interest in guitars, or even just woodwork. The skills I learnt while building my guitar are definitely transferable to other projects and I loved every part of the experience.

Warning: seriously addicitive pastime! A four hour class goes so fast you can't wait for next week's class to roll around again. Not only do you end up with a fantastic guitar, but the process is so enjoyable. My (first) guitar takes pride of place in my living room and sometimes I still can't believe I made that. I am so appreciative to the school and Andrew for introducing me into the world of lutherie and guitar making

I've had such a great experience with my first guitar build. I would recommend anyone with an interest in guitars to build one, I'm glad I have. Love my new guitar and I'll be back for another I'm sure. Thanks Trent and Andrew!

I don't think there really is anything more satisfying in this life than building your own amazing guitar. It doesn't matter if you have never picked up a chisel or a plane before, or even if you already own some lovely instruments, it is about the experience and personal reward of building something truly amazing and absolutely unique. I look at my first guitar build and I still can't quite believe that I made it. The fact that the volume and tone easily beat my handmade Yamaha and Asturias guitars is an unexpected bonus. I take my hat off to Andrew, he is a most excellent tutor with the patience of a saint. If you have a guitar, but want something better, built to state of the art designs, or would just like to experience the satisfaction of creating it, then sign up for classes. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
