EDIT 6 March 2019 They have had a change of name with a new menu with no steaks. Fish and chips used to be far better. I hope they improve as I used to really like the food here. Luckily really good staff are still here.

Nice pub and really friendly and helpful bar staff. Been here many times over over the last few years because the food menu was excellent and good value for money. Sadly not a good menu now and very little choice, mainly stew, saw people looking at new menu then putting it down and walking out. Such a shame.
Great service but the new menu and drink prices are very ordinary. Used to love coming here but I think I'll go elsewhere now.
Love the pub trivia on Mondays. Nice beer selection and food is good too. Bar staff is always nice. Good spot for a low key pint.
Terrific service. Friendly and efficient staff. Fun, good vibe with the bonus of a real fire. Food very good. Large servings with genuine manners and style from the people who work there.
Held our work Christmas party there, and it was a great night. Drink specials and delicious platters kept the masses happy. Kelly the event coordinator was very accomodating and the night ran smoothly.
