We returned to Sophie and her team as we had been so pleased with her cloth mounting and timber framing of a 200-year-old textile. We next had her inspect a large painting for us and advise on necessary conservation measures. Canvas was gently tightened. A light, museum-grade backing sheet was added to prevent insects, dust, and mould from gathering. A new timber box-frame beautifully enhanced the painting. Sophie's work is impeccable. She is knowledgable, courteous, engaged and patient. We now have another more complex project with her workshop, involving historic documents and artefacts, to be cleaned, mounted, and framed. We know they are in the best hands and anticipate being as delighted as we have been with the other projects. A joy to work with and her works are a joy to behold.
