I usually don’t write reviews, but the range at St Mary’s really is one of the greatest places to shoot and buy in NSW. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, and will do their best always to help you. SSAA member discounts are there, and if you ever need something as little as advice and help with ammunition selection, scopes, mounts, guns in general or want to get into hunting/target shooting they will help you 100%. Cannot recommend any more highly, good job guys, you rock and do the shooting community proud.

A work colleaguw of mine actually works at a shooting range on his days off and on weekends and he strongly recommended i try firing a rifle or gun for myself. Sure enough it was every bit as cool if not cooler than i had imagined it would be. I enjoyed myself that much that im going to join the SSSS NSW and ill probably start attending on my time off and really practicing my handling and firing of said weapons.

A 50 metre range with approvals to accommodate almost any caliber. The range has facilities for tea and coffee, small snacks and a viewing area with tables and chairs behind large viewing windows with little to no noise from the range itself. The club is also licensed as a firearms dealer and you can purchase firearms, ammunition, accessories and cleaning supplies less than 15m from the firing line itself. The range itself is split into 3 firing lines (A, B and C) which are all indoors to allow shooting in all weather. The officers will generally split shooters by caliber into their respective ranges, but they will accommodate groups where possible. If you are a new or inexperienced shooter, this range provides a safe and relaxing area for you to practice in relative privacy while under the eye of the range officers. Call ahead for "Try Shooting" courses as this range is very busy and classes are booked in advance.

I went to the Silverdale branch for a one person 2 hour shooting experience. We were looked after by Tony, who was an excellent and patient teacher and gave clear instructions. All staff there were welcoming, fun and helpful and It was a professional and safe environment. My son had an amazing day. Andy at the front desk was also awesome, and filled us in on gun licence options and what’s required to take it up as a sport. We felt very welcomed. Highly recommend the Silverdale SSAA shooting range.

Well equipped indoor rifle range, automatic target movement with a variety of distances (up to 50). My only complaint is sometimes I wind up sitting next to some tooth rattling large guns.
