YK Education provides a very welcoming and supportive environment for both students and tutors to thrive. The warm atmosphere and friendly tutors enable students to be unafraid to ask questions as they arise, which ultimately maximises their learning potential. I would have loved to be a student at YK Education during my HSC year, as it provides a space that is not too pressuring but still pushes students to achieve their personal best. YK Education has a structured approach to student learning, in which it provides a one-on-one tutoring lesson as well as a session to practice exam-style questions. Not only does YK Education excel at creating a positive learning environment, but also in building close relationships between students and their tutors. As a maths tutor who works at YK, I really enjoy working with Yuna, the students and my fellow tutors as we’ve developed a close-knit community. Yuna has been a super supportive employer, and is always willing to listen to your concerns as a student or as a tutor. When I applied to work at YK Education, I was worried that I wouldn’t be a great tutor. However, from the minute I stepped into the office, Yuna provided guidance on how to be the most effective coach, so you don’t need to worry about being inexperienced! Working at YK Education has been a really rewarding experience, as we can truly see the difference we have made in students’ learning lives, not only in terms of their academic achievements, but also in their confidence and attitude towards learning.

YK Education has been extremely helpful as a Year 12 student preparing for the HSC. The environment is always very encouraging and motivating. Tutors know the curriculum very well and are immensely experienced in their teaching. Besides being supportive, their feedback and guidance have been extremely beneficial. It is a great educational service that allows students to learn and better themselves in a range of subjects that they struggle with. I highly recommend YK Education as it has helped me identify and understand my strengths and weaknesses in English, and has helped me improve in these areas. As a full-time ballet student, my lessons have allowed me to become more knowledgeable and made me feel confident and well prepared for my HSC, despite not going to a normal high school. I do English sessions once a week and have thrived off how helpful and advantageous they are. Tutors go through what is expected in the different topics and modules and prepare for assessments early on. They are very understanding and patient through their teaching methods and ensure students achieve the best results they can. My marks have improved as a result of efficient, productive and enjoyable sessions.
Having worked at YK for a few years, I've found the atmosphere there supportive for both teaching and learning. The English programmes at YK are one-on-one, meaning that students have sessions that are appropriate for their ability and the specific issues they have in class. As a tutor, I could also build a more personal relationship with each student and encourage them to feel confident in asking questions and identifying areas that they struggle with. Everyone at YK from staff to students is friendly and familiar with each other, and Yuna is an employer who will not hesitate to sit down with you anytime and help you improve in your work. To me, this supportive environment is a great asset of YK and key to helping struggling students reach their full potential.
I am a Year 12 student at Hornsby Girls High School and I've been taking Japanese continuers extension and Maths lessons here at YK Education. I've gained more confidence in both subjects thanks to the lovely tutors and friendly environment. The teachers are very helpful and I feel that they really care about their students. They always make sure I understand the content before moving on and cater to my learning pace so I always feel supported. Furthermore, the lessons are always organised and there is a clear direction as to where I am headed in terms of my learning which is very reassuring, especially now that I am preparing for the HSC. I've seen a significant improvement in my marks, particularly in regards to Maths and my attitude towards this subject has greatly changed in that I now enjoy the challenge of tackling difficult concepts and working my way through complex questions rather than giving up completely. I also owe my achievements in Japanese Extension to Yuna because without her guidance and support, I definitely would not have been able to rank 1st. If you're considering studying here at YK Education, I strongly encourage you to try it out because you will not regret it :)

I received tuition for Japanese at YK Education from year 10 in high school until I completed the HSC. My time spent learning here led to my great achievements in the subject and encouraged me to pursue further study of Japanese language at the tertiary level. The tutors at YK Education were always friendly and genuinely cared about their students' development and well being. The learning goals for the period of tuition considered the student's individual stage of learning and circumstances, and each lesson was always well-structured and effectively presented. As a timid Year 11 student, I was extremely hesitant to start studying at a tutoring college, however, the friendly and supportive environment of YK Education made me quickly realise that this was a place where students were made sure to feel relaxed and comfortable. A large reason why I liked YK Education was the warmth, support and most of all dedication by the tutors to make me feel comfortable whilst learning my selected subject. Similarly, my math lessons both helped me learn but also enjoy the process regardless of making mistakes or struggling to grasp a concept. Throughout my journey at YK Education, tutors didn’t just help me get good grades but maintain them and became moral supporters when I was under lots of stress or feeling overwhelmed by exams! By the end of Year 12, I liked to study maths and was really happy about having decided to join YK Education! Its not just a tutoring college, but a place where students are always welcomed by supportive and friendly tutors who work together with you to achieve your personal best. Highly recommend!!
