Really beautiful theater. But the seats! Please spend some money on some new ones.

Not a bad seat in the house, purchase tickets night before and thought I was up in the gods, but layout is so good even 2nd last row in the corner was still good!

Impressive 1921 building, still packs a crowd. Needs a polish & run over with a feather duster!

Venue is beautiful. Had the pleasure of watching the Les Miserables production which was absolutely amazing. Enjoyed it thoroughly and will certainly return!

The staff at the National Theatre are second to none. As the opening act for a famous international artist, the staff showed us no less priority. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable with our sound, they made sure we had our own green room and they ensured we were happy and making the most of the experience. It’s not often we get this sort of treatment as artists and I have to say it made our night. We would personally love to hire the National Theatre for our own concert now; not just for the ethereal decor, the world-class sound and the well thought-out seating, but definitely also for the wonderful staff whom we would have great pleasure in working with again. Well done guys and kudos to you for having such a friendly and helpful nature despite having to work all day on your Sunday ️

A fantastic historical building with lots of character. Great size for intimate viewing experience. Seat bases probably need a refurb but otherwise comfortable. If you want snacks for the show then get there early as queues grow long with only a single staff serving. Bathrooms are clean but don't expect to be able to dry your hands!
