If you are looking for a luthier to service, setup, modify, repair and/or enhance your pride and joy, then look no further than Joseph (The Luthier) Joseph is extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy and what I would call a master at his craft. He has done a truly amazing job at modifying and setting up my guitars. I highly recommend his services. He is highly knowledgeable, has great work ethics, is very talented at his craft, friendly and punctual. I would not bring my guitars to anyone else.
After 2 years of visiting to a lot of repairers and luthier. I was so relieved to have my bass repaired. Joseph is an amazing guy who took a great time and effort to understand my needs and the SOUND I was after. He setup my fretless according to my playing style and the finger pressure. I mean his attention to detail is exceptional. Finally my Bass could sing after 2 years :) Can’t recommend him enough for any of your string instrument related query. Professional service and reasonably priced. P.S. He also teaches to build instrument, if you’re into it ;)
Simply the best place you can take your guitars for repairs and services. Joseph is incredibly knowledgeable, experienced and detailed. Not only does he get the best out of a guitar, he’ll fine tune it to suit the way you play. Couldn’t take my guitars anywhere else!
My guitars have never played better! Super happy with the work at Soxy. There's many that do a decent setup, but Joseph carefully listens to exactly what you want, then dials it in based on your needs. You can tell a lot of care and attention to detail goes into each job after playing a few chords. Very personable, honest, and happy to explain the pros/cons of the various setup choices. A cut above, check him out!

Joseph has installed pickups and set up 3 of my guitars in the last year including a very rare1994 Custom Shop Strat.I specifically chose Joseph due to his expertise with Fenders. In each case, Joseph quickly identified several refinements to the nut, fret dressing etc which would improve the action. The pickup changes were also complex requiring splitting, series and parallel hook up with push/push pots. There were complications due to mixing pickup brands and Joseph took the time to contact the manufacturers to ensure there were no polarity issues. Josep took the time to discuss options with me and kept me informed throughout. The guitars have never played better, the action is insane and the electronics are perfect. I will continue to use Joesph at Soxy guitars and would trust him with any job or any guitar. Great guy too!
Joseph is phenomenal. I have been bringing my guitars (including PRS SE, PRS S2, Music Man, Jacksons, Fenders, classical guitars) to him for the past 3 years or so. He has incredible attention to detail and respect for his craft. He sits you down to watch you play, and tries to understand the kind of player you are before he works on your guitar. He recently restored an 18 year old Jackson of mine and it now plays incredibly, even compared to my other guitars 2x the price!
