Yeah, it’s a pretty solid bridge. Would be fairly confident it won’t fall over if you walk or drive over it.

Without it there would be a long swim accross the nerang river. Makes for an interesting feature of the seaworld dinner cruise on high tide. It is sitting room only as you could reach out and touch it

The sundale bridge and surrounding area I always a great place to walk or ride a bike. It's also a magnificent place to take photos from the watersedge towards the Gold Coast and Main Beach sky line especially at night. Great fishing can be had along the water and you're bound to catch a flathead or two if using the right bait. There are some BBQs around and plenty of places to sit and look out onto the water just make sure you bring the Aerogard as sandflies can be a problem on a low tide.
