I can't put into words how happy I am atm. I contacted Greyhounds as Pets a few weeks ago asking about any dogs that might suit my situation. I've been very sick for 16 years and thought it might be nice to have a dog for company during my sometimes long nights. I was so apprehensive about getting a dog as I know they can sometimes require a lot of work and attention, it's because of this reason I've put of getting one! After explaining my situation I sat back with my fingers crossed hoping that maybe my dreams would come true. My dreams came true on Monday! I received an email last week about a little girl who was soft, gentle and had quite frankly not put a foot wrong. They were right! Greyhounds as Pets really listened to my story and to tell you the truth I don't think there would have been a more compatible pooch anywhere. She's so happy to have her own little bed and sleeps there about 18 hours a day, although she does get up and turn around occasionally.... She's so happy in her own skin, she hasn't even been to the toilet inside the house. When I'm sick she's amazing company, she just comes and sits beside me. She is the best dog ever! Thanks for everything you've done for us x
