Good theatre although the seating was a little snug. You wouldn't want to have personal space issues.

State of the art theatre situated in Melbourne's arts precinct. Home of the Melbourne Theatre Company. Facilities second to none. Do yourself a favour and go see a live production and enjoy the performance.

Worst service ever... waited for 15 mins to take our order...the restaurant wasn't even that busy, it was 9pm. We had the seafood stew which was super salty and asked 3 different waitresses to get water. Terrible... would not go there again

Lovely venue in a great entertainment precinct. Although it was strange to see a performance sold entirely as General Admission, all the seating in The Lawler seemed pretty good.

Southbank Theatre offers a comfortable arena to watch plays, concerts and other performances. There is also a bistro if you want to grab a bite to eat before the show. Or you can get snacks but they're not cheap; compatable to a movie theatre snack bar. Some more seating for people when they're waiting for the doors to open would be nice. There seemed to be a lot of senior citizens with nowhere to sit.
