Patient Wolf Distilling Co. Reviews | Rating 4.9 out of 5 stars (8 reviews)

Patient Wolf Distilling Co. is located in Southbank, Australia on 34-36 Market St. Patient Wolf Distilling Co. is rated 4.9 out of 5 in the category alcohol manufacturer in Australia. Patient Wolf is a boutique gin distillery, located in Brunswick, Melbourne. Born from a belief that well-crafted and considered things have no fear of time. Quality things. Original. Handcrafted. Defined. Measured. Made with equal parts expertise and attitude. It takes considerable effort to realise them, and it takes even more to critique and refine. But they’re worth waiting for. We believe in a new wave of unrestrained craft-led influence that respects tradition yet challenges the future. That blend of old and new is best typified by our handmade, 220L Müller copper still, custom built in Germany. The crucial mix of native Australian and exotic botanicals, pure Australian water and our innovative distilling process define our gin. As new guardians of cocktail culture, heritage, flavour and distilling, we endeavour to create modern-classics that aim to inspire ‘those who know’.

Delicious gin for the win! We popped into Patient Wolf Distilling Co and it was wonderful. Their space is absolutely gorgeous and their gin is even better. We started with a gin flight which I would recommended everyone does... it’s a really great way to get to taste and learn about each of their gins before ordering your favourite. We really enjoyed all 3 Gins but our favourite of the day was the summer thyme gin. Light, refreshing citrus and thyme flavours make it the perfect summer tipple. Thanks for the good times! We’ll be back soon :)

We have enjoyed this gin for a while, so heading here to taste more was a treat. We got a gin flight, which showed all their gins. We loved every one. No food is on offer, but you can pre order a box full of cheese and meats from their website. The service was excellent, and every waiter super knowledgeable, and able to provide recommendations if needed. The venue is accessible, with views of the still from every table. Great fun.

We did the Gin Masterclass and had an epic time. We liked gin already, but this gave us a whole new appreciation for the history and process. The vibe is super trendy, warm and welcoming. Thanks for having us!

Great gin and the Gin Flight is an economical way to try all of them. Interior looks nice but not much to eat or drink apart from gin tasting, so not really a place to linger.

My partner and I were given a gin masterclass as a present by some very kind friends and it was a great way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon. Blake was a great host and selected some beautiful nibbles from the Sth Melb market for our food hamper. We learnt a lot about the gin making process, history and the specifics of Patient Wolf's gins. Some delicious gins to taste and a yum spritz to finish. A great experience and we are already thinking about who we could visit with again.

You really can't go wrong with a G&T - especially when the gin in question is from Patient Wolf. These guys recently opened up this bar/distillery which is a really cool way to experience their processes firsthand. In addition to an interesting cocktail menu, they serve flights and small bites. I tried a sampler of three gins - the Melbourne Dry (my favourite as it was perfectly smooth but strong), the Summer Thyme (good on its own and great with the addition of tonic) and the Blackthorn (an absolutely delicious sloe gin with higher ABV and lower sugar than average). Whether you're a gin nerd, want to get educated from people who really know their stuff or are just looking for a new place to drink around South Melbourne, this spot is well worth a visit.
