Being from Sydney I envy the markets that Melbourne has. They are so good and a great way to shop to support smaller businesses. Prahran Market is a beautiful building smack bang in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Commercial Road. Easily accessible via tram but there is also parking available. There is so much variety for deli, fruit and veg and meats, the best thing to do is wander around and take your pick of whatever you fancy.

A delightful place to shop. The fresh produce is in very open place, fresh seafood and meat place is clean, deli area are chokefull of choices. There's an affordable parking building behind the market. Much better to pay for parking here than trying to find an off street parking that only let you park for 1-2 hours.

Sausage Sizzle event was fun and well organised. Perfect amount of people were allowed to go in saving the event from over crowding. Street food was really finger licking yummy and the whole atmosphere was nice, inviting and entertaining with live performers adding their special touch to overall vibe.

Great range of produce and delicious food to try out at Prahran market. Easy to get there by tram and if you like walking, you can continue walking down chapel street to explore the interesting pop up shops along the street!

Best quality food market Ive visited ever! I wish I had one nearby. A bustling upmarket food market with an abundance of fresh meat, fish, breads, produce, spices, organics and delicious treats. Every vendor is an artisan in their craft and have thoughtfullu displayed and designed their experience. Everything is incredible - I can imagine It would be highly competitive to be a vendor here.
