Recently retired. Thought I'd get back into shooting after a 40 year break. Had the pleasure of speaking to Mick. Very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Had a great chat. Will get what I want in if not in stock. Can't see myself needing to go anywhere else for my shooting gear. What's better than finding everything you need locally?

Worst Experience ever, don’t shop here people. Plenty of other stores around who are happy to help and make you feel welcome. Staff are not approachable, and make you feel no welcome. I was interested in a rifle that they didn’t have and they were like we don’t have it. That’s it nothing else after that we don’t have it. No looking for other possible solutions not interested in helping. I can see from the Google reviews I’m not the only one.
Service is good, and they're happy to have a chat, but prices were just too high. Quoted nearly double for a rifle I was able to pick up from another store within 30 mins drive. Don't mind paying a bit extra to shop locally, but there's a limit to that. Will probably go in for smaller purchases like ammo etc.
You want it you get it knowledge products and service great place see Paul or Mick.
I have been going to South Morang Hunting for a couple of years now and have never had a bad experience. It has plenty of parking and is easy to get to. The staff possess a wealth of knowledge, they are both friendly and helpful. I try to limit my visits as there is so much to buy! I would gladly recommend South Morang Hunting to anyone who enjoys hunting &/or fishing ... they have everything you need!
Good service. Range is a bit limited (mainly ammo) but very helpful in obtaining licence and supporting new shooters. I'm a fan and will continue to shop there.
Owner has wide knowledge Friendly and helpfull Prices are comparable with others A little haggle is enjoyed You leave with a smile on ya face mate
Phoned to esquire about a certain type of Ammunition "dont stock that ", asked if they could get some in "NO". Phoned another store - only to happy to help and try and get some . Guess where I will be buying in future . Customer service non-existent
