On a hot summer night South Melbourne Night Market is the place to be. With streets blocked off, a music stage, food trucks and lots of new interesting traders, what's not to love...such a great idea! Lots of energy and good vibes. Well worth the trip.
Good food, good drinks and good music. There are a lot of street food trucks in addition to the regular restaurants that are open. It can be a little congested / crowded depending on the time. We loved the Salt & Pepper Squid stall and the Sliders on Tyres food truck. The fries were very tasty and the cheese burger slider was very juicy and flavourful. The beef patty was cooked medium which is the best.
Best market around. Specifically the nightmarket. Great live music, lot of food options.

What a great place. Cheap seafood, meats, cheeses, veggies. Loved it. Ever thing you need. A must.
Good market during the day, says open until 9:30 pm was there at 7pm everything but 2 restaurants closed
Came to visit the night market on a wednesday night. According to website says its open until 930. But I found out its fully closed. Annoyed
