An amazing place for finding just about anything cooking related or hospitality related. The prices are amazing - like wholesale direct to the public. I could spend hours in store just browsing. Super helpful and courteous staff that are quick and efficient.

Where the chefs shop literally. Chefs Hat have everything you want and can think of and even the stuff you never thought of until you’re in the place and you have a light bulb moment. Been coming here for well over 10 years from buying kitchen equipment to knives, plates and everything in between, super helpful and backed with knowledge of the products. Staff are super friendly and always asking if you’re after a hand with anything , it’s ran like a well oiled machine. Easy to shop and buy without feeling pressured like some other places. Even makes it better that it’s right across from my favourite Market, it’s a chefs/foodies dream! See you soon guys

Great place to get lots of stuff for trade and home. Stock not as great compared to times prior to CoVid-19 but still good enough when it's not any specific items or colour choices. Some shelves are a bit bare but one should still be able to walk through the massive double storey store and find something to please. Good value discounted items or bargains can be found on footpath near entrance. Be prepared as you might end up purchasing stuffs you might not need. This place can get very busy at times and thus hard to get assistance from staff. It's always better to go on days when nearby South Melbourne market is closed. Be very vigilant on parking meter times as one can easily lose track; parking officers are like vultures around that area. Best option is to park at market undercover rooftop parking areas and walk the short distance. Have fun and happy shopping!
