The maternity ward. Honestly couldn’t thank the nurses enough for everything. Everyone was so nice and very helpful!!! All the nurses from the 16th-18th January who were on were absolutely amazing. It was such a great experience.

I attended day surgery yesterday August 12th, 2020. I have nothing but praise for the whole procedure. The staff I encountered on admission were extremely friendly and professional. Dr Fred Boseto was my surgeon and Dr Biing was my anesthetist. Dr Fred was very reassuring and made me feel at ease. Dr Biing noted my allergies and provided an excellent substitute. The recovery room nurse (?), Karen was just what a nurse should be. She was professional, caring, had a sense of humor and tolerated me during my recovery. I thank you all, I may ever consider having the procedure again (sometime). The last time was over 30 years ago, how things have changed, much less concerning now.

I went to Lithgow hospital Friday the 6 June I was in hospital the night before in a lot of pain and the pain finally settled down about 5am and went home. I call an ambulance on Friday about 9.25pm they took me to hospital and I was triage while there the nurse was whispering to the doctor and the paramedic about me being there the night before and screaming the place down because I was in so much pain and put in to room one, as I was in the room my pain started to settled I think it was from what the paramedics gave me. Now I understand no one can work out where the pain is coming from. They did a ct with Contrast The night before and an X-ray. But there is no reason for your nurses to complain about me being there why is she back we can’t do anything for her she like you better then me ect I heard it all and then I got upset and wanted to go home I was crying and just very hurt from what they said. Then the dr came in and said Basically there is nothing they can do to help me and it’s a virus and I said it was all in my head and he agreed with me I left. It was just plan rudeness

Put in application for surgery for our almost 2 year old son, who hasn’t slept properly and is in constant pain and discomfort and has been for months now. was given a date for the surgery over the phone, we were so happy, finally he’ll be pain free in a month, or so we thought. We didn’t get a letter confirmation which we thought was odd so we called. We were told that they couldn’t anaesthetise someone under 3 at the hospital so they were cancelling his surgery. My family is crushed we were given hope only to have to torn away with no intention or ‘ability’ apparently to fulfil their initial promise. We’re are now forced to go self funded private for the surgery or wait the “up to 16months” waiting list another hospital has given us.

Amazing professional, friendly and efficient. Such a change to go to a local hospital and not feel guilty about wasting staff time

Meltdown By Kyle

I was treated for a mental health issue. I was spoken about like I wasnt in the room, treated like less of a person and this is one reason people hurt themselves and not get help, because they are not treated the same as people with a broken arm.
