Love, love, love this place! We were planning on 'dropping in' on the way down the Peninsula. Next thing we know, we were mesmerised by Naomi's stories, passion and knowledge. Naomi is delightful and my whiskey-loving husband thought the whiskeys were amazing. Hidden gem!

I recently purchased Chief's Son latest release the Tanist. It is a wonderful drop, so smooth, distinct stone fruit flavours and a lovely hint of smoke and toffee. It a very balanced whisky and great value at 115 for an Australian produced single malt. Well done Chief's Son and proud to support Australian whisky.
Absolutely worth a visit. Lovely expressions of whisky with an amazing back story. If you get a chance to try cask '69' (no joke!) treat yourself (and if you're lucky they might still have a bottle left for sale).
I've been to the distillery twice. Found the whisky and service to be exceptional both times. The cask strength 900 standard and the 900 single cask barrel 69 have been the two that have stood out to me as being particularly exceptional. Highly recommend.
I recently placed an order with Chiefs Son distillery. I made a mistake with my order. Via email, the team at CS quickley resolved my mistake and my order was placed correctly. Their customer service is exceptional and I cannot wait to try the whisky.
