After reading a ton of PDS documents from every insurance company I decided to go with Youi for building and contents insurance with accidental contents insurance. The lady I spoke with was very helpful, explained everything in easy to understand language and I felt comfortable to insure with them. Price wise they seem reasonable if not better then some of the other insurance companies out there that claim they offer more until you really dig into the detail. Hopefully I won’t need to use my insurance but feel comfortable I will be looked after by Youi.

After receiving our renewal notice from what was our current insurance company, my wife and I decided to make a phone call to Youi insurance,,,, it took a twenty minute chat and we saved 400.00 on a new policy on two of our vehicles all I can say is Delighted. Those sort of savings in that timeframe are at the level of politicians wages.

Be very careful when choosing who you go with for insurance. I haven't had a great experience with youi. Typical insurance company as will try get out of a claim as much as they can.

They quote a price that's double the price for full comp than others, with an excess thats almost triple anyone else. HOWEVER, despite all that, the BEST customer service I've ever had whilst dealing with an insurance company, hence the 3 star review. Whoever I spoke to on the phone was PHENOMENAL.

I was with Youi for a year with my car and contents insurance but switched for a couple of reasons. 1 - Their price is very high in comparison to other companies. Just for my comprehensive car insurance, Youi was well upwards of 50 per month more expensive. And that's after they gave me a discount when I tried to leave about 6 months in. 2 - Pretty much everything has to be done over the phone. There is no autonomy to do anything online and even logging in to your account is a pain cause they send you a security code every time. If you want to be able to control your own account and don't want to talk to your best mate at customer service every time you want to do the smallest thing, this company isn't for you. Note that they lure you in when you try and get a quote online by calling you to complete the quote and then trying to sell it to you. They try and be your friend and you end up being on the phone for 20 minutes before even getting anywhere. By the time you actually get the quote you're so worn out that you just go with them cause you're there and it's easy. I will admit that their customer service is great when you are on the phone to them. And they seem like a good company, they even offered COVID discounts. I have no actual issue with them, just the way that they operate and the high price isn't for me.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I wasted over 20 mins with them that I will never get back. They were 4 times more expensive than my current insurer. I fell off my chair when they told me the price. I pay 480 with current insurer. They quote 2000 with double the excess .I would not waste one minute getting a quote from these clowns FOR ANYTHING. They are RIDICOULOUSLY EXPENSIVE compared to other insurers.

Turns out I’ve been with Youi for quite a few years now. Ashton told me this when I called today. Maybe they are very competitive. Maybe I’m just lazy and time poor. It’s probably a mixture of the two. Anyway, they always seem to get me a decent price on my car insurance. Every time I call, their customer service is always nothing short of exceptional. It’s worth using them just for that.....which is more than can be said about the car dealer I’ve just bought my latest car from. But let’s not go there.
