Awesome awesome... Absolutely loved this place.. Very serene and peaceful here amongst the trees.. I came to see the monastery and got introduced to the Abbott too.. I hoped he wasn't too busy to see me. A truly wise and funny man. Always happy and smiling, eager to share a story and some wisdom.. He told me a little about the history about the place.. He told me how in 1997 it could have all burned down in a huge bush fire that swept through, but it was a miracle.. The trees and the undergrowth were burnt, but the buildings escaped without and damage.. Divine Intervention? Maybe. Anyone can come for a visit.. Come and meditate in the hall.. I'm going for another visit.. Its nice to get away from the busy suburb and sit and listen to the wind rustling the leaves in the trees..

People bring food, offer to Monks and eat after a short Buddhist prayer. Very peaceful and enchanting atmosphere with lots of parrots and kangaroos. Must visit

If you are looking for a day trip while want to make good merit come to this Monastery! We do food offering to the monks and get the blessing. After that you can stay for lunch and maybe you can spend some time to meditate in the hall if you wish.For kids,they will enjoy it as well as it is very close to nature.You can spot many parrots and kangaroos.
