The View is superb!!!!! I highly recommend staying here - stunning view over the very beautiful Scott’s head. We saw many whales from the balcony (and sea turtles, dolphins, crabs within 100m). Very comfortable inside with full kitchen, magazines etc to make your stay perfectly relaxing. Scott’s head is a hidden gem - beautiful beaches, great for families, gorgeous surrounding day trips.

Wow! What a great property and scenic location. My wife and I stayed at The View on our first visit to Scotts Head and it really was a perfect few days. We watched dolphins off the veranda most days and it's a short walk to multiple beaches and into town. The house is perfectly suited for everyone from a couple looking for a relaxing week away right up to larger families or groups. We can't wait to get back.

What a beautiful retreat from the hustle and bustle of every day life in the city! My husband and I had an overall wonderful experience at "The View". It was easy booking directly with the owner who made things simple and straight forward while also making us aware of the fine print. The house is very clean and tidy with ample space both to relax and unwind. The view is truly amazing and my husband and I really enjoyed sitting outside on the deck reading and having a glass of wine. Would recommend!!

We had an amazing week. Some of the best views. Right on the water. Good honest beach house with many nice touches. Heating a fabulous bonus for the occasional chilly morning. We swam in the sea - June long weekend. And saw dolphins. Such a magic experience.
The manager of the view has changed! Be warned. I have stayed at The View many times without any problems but this year was different. The first problem started with my request to make a cancellation. I tried to cancel the booking 9 months before our arrival date and was told it was a 50% cancellation fee. This meant she wanted to charge me 6000. So read the policy carefully. Its very hard to find and difficult to understand. Then, she took the 1300 of our bond for cleaning fees. The house was cleaned by a professional once a week for the month whilst we were there and the house was clean when when we left it. Pets are allowed and she charged us pet sanitation fee which was never originally disclosed. My dog who has also stayed at the view many times is completely house trained and we have never been charged before. Finally, we wanted to go through the Stayz website but she insisted we go direct. This left us very unprotected and cheated out of a lot of money. We won't ever stay here again.
Sensational! The views are divine. Gorgeous house with everything. Booked direct with owners - who were just lovely. Lots of tips for the best local fish, and places to eat. AAA
