We stayed in The Garden Studio, great size for two people, with king bed, small dining table, basic kitchenette and a large bathroom with walk in shower. With stunning views over the lower paddocks and dam, there are also lovely short walks through the homestead gardens, joined by the roaming chickens and their chicks. Stacey made us feel very welcome and the booking process simple.

We stayed in ‘long johns cottage’ and loved it, it was a nice relaxing farm stay which was very spacious and the beds were the most comfortable we have had in all of Tasmania!! Lots of lovely decor. Our kids loved getting to pat the pony and explore the yard, and feed the chickens. Definitely give some of the home grown carrots and courgettes a try, they were delicious! Highly recommend their home grown leatherwood honey as well.
This is a truly wonderful place. We stayed in the Cottage and it was so beautiful and comfortable - alot of space, very comfy bed and a nice big bathroom and kitchenette. What i really loved was the personal balcony. We had breakfast overlooking the vegetable gardens and watched the Cows in the background being fed/herded. As a Sydney city couple it was really lovely to unwind on a farm and I can't get over just how beautiful it was. The 4 black ducks and all the baby chicken families were especially cool to see running around the gardens. I would highly recommend this place - We will likely return but to stay a few more days next time. Such a great place.
Found this to be a bit cold in winter as heating didn't seem sufficient & having to keep the door closed to the bathroom as one of the many rules stated left the bathroom cold, could possibly be more enjoyable through summer months
Fantastic bed. Large clean room with nice farm views. Can see horse and sheep from the window. Peaceful surroundings.
Thank you so much Stacey and Michael for everything you've done. Our stay at Robin Hood's Well was our favourite throughout our whole trip in Tassie. From the moment we entered the driveway and stepped into the house we absolutely fell in love. What an amazing pitoresque spot you've got and it really shows how much love you've put into making the place feel homey and cosy. If we ever get back or if we know of people travelling in the area we will definitely get in touch again!
Fantastic. Views are spectacular. Not far from the spirit of tas terminal so a great place to stop before continuing on to tas or before getting on the boat to go back to the mainland. Food is great.. chickens a bit weary of kids.. hey.. but the horses are great and the trout and eel lake is awesome.
Wonderful hosts Stacey and Michael and beautiful accommodation in a picturesque setting in Northern Tasmania. Do yourself a favour and book a stay here, you'll love it as much as I did.
