I saw the duty JP, Peter recently to sign some documents. Seeing I was of an ethnic background he made some deeply offensive racial slurs while trying to make a feeble attempt at a joke. I was pretty shocked to say the least. Its not ok to refer to people of Asian background as Chinamen. In this day and age, only ignorant twits think it ok to make racial slurs. But then being of a certain age, I am sure the JP was brought up in a time when this was common place.
Magistrate Jennifer M Batts is very just and professional. Despite the registry staff being quite inconsistent in the information they give. They aren't on the same page as each other and provide different information which can be misleading when it comes to civil matters. This is a good Magistrates Court. And thank all the gay pride that they finally decided to replace the court seats in the lobby. Thank QLD Courts! I think those old seats had mold, eeek! Have a laugh and love all the many courtrooms here.

try to get your case delt with as eairly as you can as there is ussually only 3 magistrates on per day and all the teens and junkies tend to piss them off all day so if you dont want a bias judge because every one has been pissing them off all day..get in eairly FTP
