We took our two BCDs to Scuba Doctor thinking we'll have a top notch service, or so we were lead to believe from their very professionally-looking website. But the service we got was anything but professional.. We were actually ripped off big style! We were quoted 35 per BCD for basic service and I explicitly asked them to call us if there will be any extra expenses. They didn't. When we went to pick up the BCDs we were nicely forwarded a 200 invoice. You can imagine our shock! We were told that one of the BCDs needed a new inflator because the inflator cap blew off across the room when they connected it to an air supply, but once we screwed the inflator cap back in, the inflator worked just fine. We even took it for a second opinion and we were told the inflator had no fault whatsoever! So SCUBA DOCTOR charged us 75 for a whole new inflator work, because of the cap which wasn't tighten well enough... Even better than that, the BCD was returned to us with sand still stuck around the seals, which makes me believe it was never serviced by SCUBA DOCTOR other than having a perfectly working inflator replaced just so that they could charge us more...
