If I could rate this zero stars I would. I had a really nice genuine leather bag. After years of wear and tear the strap separated. All it needed was to be re-stitched. Instead they glued it - which has now stained the leather and the glue is even coming out the sides and peeling off. Then they did a botched stitch job over the top that was already unraveling when I got it. I ended up unpicking it as it looked better broken than fixed. I’m so unhappy. They completely ruined it. Annoyed I had no time to complain in person. Wish I had read reviews before going here. Never again

My feedback is in no way directed at the entire Mr Minit franchise, as I have used their service many times and always had friendly professional service. This feedback is for the particular franchise at Top Ryde. I attended counter to try and get service at approx 11.10am, however there was a clock that stated no one would be available until 11.40am. I returned after lunch and stood at the counter thinking i would at least be acknowledged as a customer. This man was sharpening something on grinder. I was the only person waiting to be served, so you would think he would have at least said something like, " i will be with you in a moment", but no, he continued his grinding. I stood at counter for a few minutes. I just wanted to put a key in to be cut. I was happy to pick up later, as my 33 week pregnant daughter was waiting for me. I knew this man could see me, but still no acknowledgement. I then called out " hello", hoping this would make him budge. He totally ignored me. . I called hello again, and at his own leisure, he walked towards me, no hello, just the following..." dont you ever yell at me while i am sharpening a knife, its dangerous. I did not yell, but he just admitted that he knew i was waiting and had seen me standing there. . His manner and tone toward me was absolutely disgusting. I was always taught that no matter what you are doing, you always serve your customers first....or at least acknowledge their presence.. he could have stopped sharpening knife and served me. Anyway after his little outburst, i just said " forget it" and walked away. May i suggest some lessons in not only customer service, but also professionalism and manners.

I took my old car keys into Mister Minit at Ryde Shopping Centre, with the hope that they could make a second pair. I had taken the keys to three separate locksmiths and four other franchises and they all told me the same thing “we can’t do it”. Frustrated, I heard that Mister Minit in Ryde was a good place to go and the store manager Alex enjoyed a challenge. His work was quick and efficient. When I had an issue with the key again, I brought it to Alex and he was determined to fix any problem I had with it. He ran tests, configured it, duplicated the codes, cut others to ensure that the key was in the best condition before I left. I have to say that Alex and the team at Top Ryde were exceptional when it came to both customer service and attention to detail. A fantastic job! Would recommend!!

I had a piece of jewelery hand engraved here, the guy was friendly and did a great job! Have also had keys cut, shoes and handbags fixed here, never had any problems and always friendly service. Thanks Mister Minit Top Ryde!

Brought my car key to fix on 03-JAN-2018, they said I had to change the whole car key shell, then charged me 100 for a new car key shell, which appears to be faulty and "lock" key button broke within less than 1 hour. To make it worse the staff broke my car key chip while transfering rendered my old key unusable. The new copy key doesn't start the engine and the “lock" car key button broke frequently and started 5o crack even in less than ONE DAY of purchase. The quality of this car key is defected or just simply not up to standard. This key kept locking my car and I had to take out the battery in the end just to make it stop today only for the staff to tried to fix it again. What a waste of time and money.

Got a candel engraved no problem at all and was very well done! Been going here as well as my family for years and theyre always polite. Got a hole punched in my belt for free and always brings me back as they treat customers good
