I ordered the baked celeriac and it came out hard as a rock. The staff were nice enough to let me choose anything off the menu without paying further which was definitely appreciated. Great spot to sit with simple rustic decor.

I had the miso baked eggplant (they have plenty of vegetarian options!), with chips with rosemary aioli on the side, and my friend had the fish pie. We both loved it! It wasn't cheap but you do got high quality and rather large portions. The wine was really nice as well and it's just a beautiful venue too. I was surprised by how spacious it is inside! Some of the staff were very friendly and outgoing, but unfortunately some also came across as quite arrogant.
I really hope Merivale had good plans for this place. We went about 12 months ago, before the handover, and had a great time. The food menu was really interesting, and all our meals were tasty. Went back last week and the menu is now a super boring "pub grub" menu. Not a single thing on there looked good. The food that came out was average, not horrible, but very forgettable. The staff were nice.

This is a great family pub in Rozelle, the food menu is impressive and there are a nice selection of craft beers on tap. There's a laid back front bar which is good for sport or playing pool and then the back has a nice big casual dining area ideal for families and kids. There's also a slightly more formal dining area, and then a function room around the side. It's nicely laid out, clean and good staff.
The beer and food is good. This was once a place for gigs and big nights, now a place for boat shoes, turned up collars and people that complained about noise from gigs and big nights. Still some good folk at the front bar and love that they're dog friendly.
Private function room worked well for our Christmas Party.. Food was great and plenty of it. Staff were friendly efficient and look after us well.
Uninspired menu and high prices. The Southern Chicken Burger was good though, but I wish there were more options for high protein, lower carb/saturated fat. They used to have an amazing Kangaroo dish I wish they'd revive.
