I contacted North Shore Appliance Repairs after our fridge stopped working on Friday afternoon(don't they always) After my first call, Sue rang back to confirm that Spencer could come on Saturday morning between 9.30 and 11.30. Spencer arrived at 10.15 and was gone by 10.50, having replaced the de-frost element. One of the better repair experiences we've had. Highly recommended.

This is the best appliance repair firm I have ever used. They promptly arranged a suitable time to call & Spencer arrived just as arranged. He was very friendly, polite & fixed the problem in no time at all. All the costs were clearly laid out prior to installing anything. If you need an appliance repaired, these are the ones to call.
There was a very quick and courteous response to the inquiry I made through their website form. Based on my description of the problem Sue was able to supply a fairly close estimate of what the final bill turned out to be. Only had to wait a couple of days for Spencer to turn up. And he was spot on time, polite and obviously very knowledgeable. He had brought the replacement part with him which made for a quick, neat repair. And I consider the final price was very satisfactory. I was very satisfied with his work and would thoroughly recommend him.
Excellent service. My Fisher & Paykel freezer drawer refused to close due to a faulty mechanism and F&P told me they couldn't send anyone for 10 days and recommended to contact North Shore Appliance Repair. Sue appreciated the pickle I was in and worked diligently all morning to arrange for Spencer to come help me out even though they knew they didn't have the parts. All I wanted was for the freezer to close to avoid stressing the motor and the alarm going off. Spencer arrived promptly and was SO friendly and efficient. He was able to get the drawer closed and promised to get the situation sorted as soon as possible. I would 100% use North Shore again and am beyond grateful for their help today!
When my Fisher & Paykel fridge stopped working properly, Sue was able to organise Spencer to come out at 7am the very next morning. He is very knowledgeable and got the fridge working properly again quickly in addition to replacing the cracked door seals. All for a very reasonable price. Spencer is a lovely fellow and was great to chat to while he went about his work. Highly recommended!
Spencer came to look at our 15 year old Fisher & Paykel fridge which was beeping constantly and the top fridge compartment was no longer cold. He was punctual, polite, neat, professional at diagnosing the issue and very experienced. He identified the problem immediately and fixed it on the spot (he carries the parts) for a very reasonable fee. Thank you Spencer!
What a lucky find! From the initial phone call to the job being completed - prompt and professional. Sue talked me through the possible problem with my leaking washing machine and even explained how to take a photo of the serial number so Spencer could check for parts. Spencer arrived that day and completed the job, explaining to me the problem and even worked out he could use a smaller less expensive part then initially quoted. Good old fashioned expert knowledge, expertise and service. Cannot recommend them more highly. Very grateful. Monica
