2 years ago I went to the Top Country stand at Farmfest and listened to a detailed ruminant explanation about Top Country Top Phos and it's benefits in a dry feed situation like winter. I normally bought a granulated dry lick from my local rural store but it contained salt which, as explained, may inhibit the rumin's ability to process dry feed. I tried this product and was amazed with the condition of my breeders and progeny over winter. I now truely see how good this product is in comparison to my rural store's product. Even though I drive further to purchase this product, it pays it's way in spades when I look at the cattle at the end of winter.
