Very rude service from the woman who signed my documents today. Make sure you bring cash with you because they all laughed at me when I said I didn’t carry cash around. Please avoid if you are looking for a friendly JP who makes an effort to make your visit as efficient as possible.

Went in and was welcomed at the door by a very kind a bit old lady. The JP who signed for me was also really kind. Waiting time was not long at all. Point to note is that the JP office is now on Ground level next to Platypus shoes. Took a bit of time to locate it
In spite of advertising opening hours until 4.30pm, and showing up at 3pm, after twenty minutes of waiting a lady came out to tell us that they are closing due to unforeseen circumstances. No other explanation was offered. All we needed was some documents sighted. If this is public service we are all in big trouble.

This morning I witnessed the most appalling conduct by one of the JP’s (female) towards a man that was clearly looking for help. He had a number of documents that required signing of which the female JP took great exception to and then after a lot of huffing and puffing demanded (yelled) at him for his postcode and said she “wasn’t going to do it”. This man was a gentleman throughout and didn’t deserve to be treated so poorly. She asked him were he would go to after and he replied that he’d have to find a way to get to another JP (Harbour Town I think) to which she replied ‘well I work there too and they won’t do it!’ The poor guy left completely dejected and probably slightly humiliated. I hope that he found the help and guidance that he needed. I’ve only ever had reasonable experiences at this office personally...today shocked and saddened me :( Be kind or find another pastime.
If you would like Friendly , Professional and efficient service DoNot attend this service . It does not even deserve a One Star rating . Our service today was not service . We had some documentation that needed two witness signatures and a JP to sign off on . From the beginning the Man was unfriendly and puzzled at our documents , I gave him some time to familiarise himself with the documents and he just closed them passed them onto another colleague and she was beyond rude and inappropriate and unprofessional. If I could rate the service we received today it wouldn’t even get a Star rating
