Great place to have a few drinks and a meal. Easy food selection. Share plates and mains decent portions too at good prices. Came here on Friday night for a work dinner and sat outside. Nicely setup. Great staff and very knowledgeable.

We dined this restaurant regularly. Kids menu is good quality in both volume and taste. Great pub food for certain. Tap Beer collection is wide and interesting. Service is always friendly.
Always friendly, professional service at the Royston. Food is good. But please bring back the Edamame entree dish, it was the best!

New to Melbourne and had a mate visiting from Perth. Agreed on Richmond area and my mate did some on-line research and suggested the Royston. So here are the positives: main course pork belly was enjoyable without being spectacular. Male waiter was pleasant. And that's where it ended. Our waiter managed to get our beer order wrong twice. I believe he is either not good at listening or has short term memory issues. The parsley salad was more parsley, potato and chorizo mixed together than a salad. My mate ordered a pot and received a pint, sent it back but we still got charged for a pint, which I did not realise till I got home. Pricey meal for what it was although the pork had lovely crispy skin and was a decent size, the vegetables we ordered were undercooked by a few minutes. It was not a disaster but this meal will be remembered for the wrong reasons rather than the right ones .
