My experience with Dr. Gail Littlejohn was unsatisfactory and dangerous. She failed to prepare ahead of my surgery which resulted in my breathing to cease at the end of the procedure and I was rushed to ICU. Her lack of research was evident when I was being prepared for surgery and I informed Dr Littlejohn of my pre-existing medical condition which she was unaware of. During my recovery in hospital Dr Littlejohn admitted to me she did not properly research my patient records before surgery, but has since denied she made that statement and continues to avoid any responsibility. Instead, she has accused me of lying over an exchange from her private email address. Dr Littlejohn has displayed unprofessionalism at multiple levels and tarnishes the anaesthetic services at what is otherwise a very good hospital, the Epworth in Richmond VIC.

Dr. Alister Ford was the best part of my caesarian experience (Other than having a baby of course)! Made me feel entirely comfortable and explained everything thoroughly so that we always knew what was happening! Even threw in a few jokes. Would definitely recommend!

Dr Andrew Rubinfeld was so lovely, I was so nervous before my c section and he came in with the biggest smile on his face and eased our fears. He was very funny so it was a great distraction and he was very supportive. He told us it is surgery but it’s also your babies birthday so it’s a celebration which I thought was such a nice way to view it. Highly recommended, so so happy with Dr Andrew!

Andrew Rubenfeld; terrible experience. Kept fishing for my vein in my hand which was clearly visible and easily found by other anaesthetists, then when about to be rolled into surgery, he told me to get up and walk in to the room bare foot as it was easier for him. Totally lacks the care most anaesthetists have when they distract you as you doze off also. Excruciating pain in my hand as the anaesthetic went in.

Dr Tayler was my anaesthetist on my day surgery on 21/11/2018 at The Epsworth Hawthorn. Dr Tayler was such an amazing, calm and skillful when attending to me at the operating theatre. Was painless and I don’t feel a single thing when Dr Tayler pokes the syringe to my arm. Seconds later I was already fully asleep. I am very thankful for his superior and outstanding skill I have ever encountered. Dr Tayler, Thank you very much and have a wonderful days ahead
