Had a reverse camera installed incorrectly. Was verbally quoted 100-200 for install; was then charged over 340. This is with me providing the head unit (already installed), camera and 5 metre optical cable. After bringing the vehicle back in to fix the issue of the incorrect install, I was then told I was lucky I was not charged again for them to fix their incorrect install. In other matters, the other vehicle that needed a lower ball joint was told it would be 250 and to my surprise I was then charged over 520. The reason for the higher cost, was to do with them installing a lower control arm as well as the ball joint, not that it was needed for the road worthy. When I had asked prior to the install; being myself having had mechanical experience, I asked why the lower control arm as well and was told that it would be cheaper than the initial verbal 250 quote just for the ball installed. After I had raised my concerns I was then told that it was not possible to just do the ball joint for the car, even though I had been told it was just the balljoint. My partner (ready to pay) asked at the counter how much would it be all up, and was told 375 (this was just the price of the part, not full service) the Invoice was actually just over 520 Thank you for the 75 retraction and I hope no other clients are overcharged. 1 star for some friendly staff. Helpful tip: needs more communication. I would have taken my business elsewhere if I had known they would jack up the price upon collection of both vehicles.
I was impressed with the level of service from all the staff. I'm also really happy with the price charged for multiple services I had completed on my vehicle. The auto transmission flushed was good value & also the regular point check & lubrication service was well priced. Many thanks for fitting me in.

This is a long overdue review for the guys at Pride Auto but I wanted to say a BIG thank-you to the guys who made a HUGE effort to sort out my son's Peugeot a few years back. It was full gearbox overhaul and although it proved very difficult, they honoured their commitment and we had it sorted in the end. They were very generous in that they allowed my son full access to their pool Utility vehicle which would have impacted them greatly. I want to single out Gary in particular who was always very calm and professional whenever I called in to check for updates. Thank-you again guys and apologies its taken me this long to submit a review.
