Incredibly emotional and tasteful memorial, made all the more special given this country's shameful rejection of the Vietnam veterans for almost 2 decades
Really enjoyed our visit to the Australian war Memorial , went back later in the day for the closing ceremony, very moving experience. Hope to revisit in the future. The memorials down Anzac parade are the best, stop for a proper look.
This is located on raise of road while walking towards the Australian war memorial.
This is not a traditional monument. Very modern and stylish. It has etched pictures, raw concrete blocks, and feels like taking off being dispatched by helicopter.
An appropriate memorial to the 501 Aussies who lost their lives in this conflict.
